Climb OUT Campout - Smith Rock

What is included in ticket price?

• 3 Nights of Camping
• 2.5 days of Guided Climbing with and all queer and AMGA certified guide team
• All climbing related gear - Helmets, harnesses, shoes from SCARPA 
• Community building activities

What is NOT included in ticket price? 

• Gratuities for guides - while gratuity or tipping is customary for guides, we understand it is not always possible. If you would like to tip your guides we will collect any cash/venmo at the end of the program.
• We will not be providing food for the weekend - please come prepared to cook and prep food for yourselves at camp.
• We are not able to provide camping gear but if you have any sopecific issues please feel free to email patrick@outinthewild.org and we will try to assisst as best we can. 

We will be camping on private land within 30 minutes of Smith Rock State Park. The weekend includes camping and 2.5 days of guided rock climbing. We'll also have some community building evening activities and access to some water for swimming. Additionally, we are working on a Saturday evening events that will integrate the local queer community as well!

Because of the nature of Smith Rock and the state park rules, we will be splitting our group in 2 by skill level and interest. Please be sure to select your interests and skill level when registering. 

Itinerary:

Thursday September 15th

4pm - Check-in Begins 

7:30pm - Intro Circle/Setting intention

8:30pm - hang out and wind down.

Friday September 16th

6:30am - Wake-up/Breakfast (You must provide your own breakfast)

7:30am - head out to climb for the day at Smith Rock

8:00am - CLIMB

Noon - Lunch Break

1:00pm - Skill Clinics and more climbing

4:00pm - head back to camp

Saturday September 17th

6:00am - wake up

7:00am - Head out to climb for the day

7:30am - Skill Clinics/CLIMB

Noon - Lunch break

1:00pm - More Climbing

4:00pm - Head back to camp

6:30pm - evening Activity

Sunday September 18th

6:00am - Wake up and Pack up camp

7:30am - head out to Climb for the day

8:00am - Climb as a whole group

Noon - finish climbing and share lunch 

1:30pm - closing circle and goodbyes
